Companies on the internet are concerned primarily with making money. User privacy is a secondary concern at best. Government regulations would handle that online business handle user information responsibly.
Today, computer software can scramble credit card numbers, which will protect users from having their information stolen or missing or misused.

The first child labor bill, the Keating-Owen bill of 1916, was based on Senator Albert J. Beveridge's proposal from 1906 and used the government's ability to regulate interstate commerce to regulate child labor. The act banned the sale of products from any factory, shop, or cannery that employed children under the age of 14, from any mine that employed children under the age of 16, and from any facility that had children under the age of 16 work at night or for more than 8 hours during the day.

During Industrial revolution their was a large amount of immigrants into America. This Topic asked you if you would be in favor of the government putting limits on the amount of immigrants that are allowed into the country. Remember with more immigrants means more workers to compete for jobs.
During the Industrial Age there was no limit to how much an employer could ask a worker to work in a week. Workers would work for 10 or more hours a day for 6 days straight. This means they were working for over 60 hours a week. The minimum wage is currently at $7.25 an hour. There are some people that currently argue that the minimum wage law is limiting job growth.
