We still need to have a progressive atitude so we don't lose the progress we have made.

Civil rights need to be protected and expanded to immigrants, both legal and illegal, because it is unfair to withold certain opportunities from someone just because they were born on the wrong side of a man-made line. We should allow free movement to this "free"country.

Also, th environmnt needs to be protected more than ever. Creation of jobs doesn't really matter if the earth is ruined and we don't have a place to work.

I belive that we can start to repeal some progressive era reforms to start getting jobs for more people but at the same time i think that we need to protect certain things like civil rights and the environment. We can gain many more jobs by taking away some small reforms and we need to gain jobs in the world. It doesnt help that there is an overwhelming population in the world to fill with jobs.

The progessive era reforms should reforms some things but other you should repeal them. The things that we should put reforms on are the environment and civil right. The things that we should repeal are the things that are stopping jobs that could be created.

I think we should keep moving forward. There is always room for improvements. We can't go back and we can't stop here.

I think the USA have still to improve something. You must make some reforms to solve the problem of the unemployed. I disagree with the legalization of the guns so I hope that will change something about it.

Civil rights should be expanded so all citizens and immigrants of the US are protected since this country is viewed as a free country by others. There are more rights in our country than in others and if we have less civil rights for eveyone here, problems would arise.

Also, for moral crimes like casual drug use and prostitution, it is those people's choice to do those things and even though the "crimes" are illegal, people still will continue to do them. So what is the point of keeping those "crimes" illegal?

I feel that we also, as a working mother, need to moe forward. We can't just stay in the past. I can just see the bright and hopefull future for us. Better equipment, working wages, homes, communication, transportation, you name it. The end of this broken road will one day be rebuild and restored. But there will still be conflict within our exsistance. We have to look for better alternitives and see the otherside of the world. If not, its ok. We all have to die at some point. I also will say that we have made it far enough to make a living and go against the odds of the business owners. We try, and yet fail each and everyday. Most days though, we fight for our lives. If we didn't fight for ourselves in this life, then why are we still here? People, we have to look into our faith, hopes, dreams, and lives. Take away the bad and conclude the good we all have done. Let's help each other so we can be a better world.

Casual drug use should be allowed, but discouraged, for people as it can hurt you to use some drugs.

We still need consumer protection so people aren't put into the poor house by greedy business owners.

I also think the president should make public jobs not government jobs. I believe that there are certain parts that need to be repealed but other parts do not. I believe that we need to be progressive. for one marijuana is a plant with herbal characteristics and like many herbs they all have different ways to get rid of illness, stress relief and tons of other things. its the hemp thing all over again. i can understand it being a medical herb but not an illegal drug. and for 2 the environment should be taken care of! the earth is a living organism like all of us and she needs as much attention as all of us when we're sick and such (yes i called earth a her dont judge). every living creature has a role they play in this world and if that creature is extinct the eco system will slowly go down hill. we need to pay attention the unbalanced global problems and make them balanced!

Without a progessive attitude and way of thinking, we would lose what we have made progress on already. It would be like starting a research project online and you find all these great websites and you ll of a sudden no longer feel like doing it. Now that you stopped your progressive outlook on the project and took a long break, you have lost most of what you already learned and must go back a find those websites and resources over agian. If we start losing track of what we have been doing and focus on other things like business or economy (which are equally important) we may lose sight of our morals and beliefs. As a conservative beliefs and tradition are very important to me. But, at the same time I do agree that we must not stick in the past and move forward but we cant leave our past entirely or again, we would lose sight of what we are looking for as a country

I think that we need to keep progression going but go back and repeal at the same time to keep citizens form going insane because at this rate many things can fail and make the united states go down the drain and for having many countries control us.

I think we should move forward with the progressive era. I think it's important to keep adding jobs for the unemployment. Even though it's hurting our environment, we are doing a good job trying to help it. We have to keep moving forward to be successful.

I think that we should remain Conservative. The way that people should think about being progressive, is that there is always people not abiding by the laws. Prostitution should have to go, because it is morally not right to make women do those kinds of things. Marijuana should be totally banned from this country, the way that people use it is just so wrong. The companies and factories were the worst thing because they were just so wrong to treat all of their workers like that.

I believe we should still continue to progress, but we shouldn't reach a point where we think we have advanced ahead of other countries. Right now we need to think of helping those who don't have jobs and settling our debt. We need to fix the situatuion we are in now before we try to do anything else, otherwise we'll think we have made progress, but in reality we haven't.

There is good good progession and there is bad. I think that progression should be towards what is suppose to be freedom not putting it more towards socialsim and communism. Many countries have had this and are socialist or communist, and they are not in very good standing right now. Don't try to change things that don't need to be changed. It should be towards our rights and not adding bills that make us all a country that is like a baby that is super dependent on its mother government.

We need to keep progressing and moving forward so that we can continue having jobs and being employed, we need to be able to provide for families and ourselves, so this will keep benefiting us.

America is fine as it is. There is now way that America needs to change about it's business/ economics or other things that need to be changed. Mexico needs to change because the country itself is pretty much abused of drugs or stolen army. Mexico has modern Rabor Barons and the workers are getting screwed by my point of view.

I am leaning more toward the conservative side, although it is hard to go directly one way with such a controversial topic, conservative vs. liberal. The conservatives are for: Traditional family values and the sanctity of marriage, small non-invasive government, and a strong national defense focused on protection and the fight against terrorism. I agree with all of these, but the right of protection of every living human, which I believe we shouldn't protect illegal immigrants.

I think we need to stop with some of the progressive era laws and start moving forward with new laws. For us to stay as a world power we need to move forward and get out of the progressive era.
