Obama's (democrat) or Congress (Republican) both have economic policies. Which is best for the nations economic recovery? Taxing millionaires? No tax increases? Taxing middle class? Tax corporations that are taking jobs overseas? No corporate welfare?

I think away for us to help our economy we should stop letting so many people come in to the US. Becausse we don;t have jobs for people herre so why would people come here thinking jobs are there for them. That is partcially why most people are in debt because of jobs. I am for Obama's plan. I think millionares can pay their taxes because I highly doubt that they need as much money as they have. Us middle class Americans work hard for not even a fraction of what they get. Plus if we have family to take care off thats just more money we need to spend. Side: For Obama administration

I think that taxing millionaires can help the economy. I'm not saying that millionaires should be the only ones taxed or that their taxes should be raised by so much, but I think that if they were to increase the taxes of millionaires just slightly, we would be facing slightly better economic opportunities. They won't get more rich if they are still being taxed as much as us. They earn their money fair and square. If they go into debt, thats their problem that they aren't getting aa good job. Some of these people have worked very hard for their money and lives,,not to mention some of these have familes they provide for....and taking what they deserve away from them is wrong....also what happened to equal rights and fairness to al!!?? I think that taxing the rich more is a good idea but I also agree that more immgrants come here to find a job when there aren't any. I agree with you Dochterman...partially... because by taxing the rich even more would help poorer families in need or any people that are less fortunate than them. However, I disagree with you though, because why should the rich be taxed if they spent their lives working their way up to be at the top? Most professional atheletes get paid millions everyday. Millionares don't need all of there money to survive, while some people barely have enough money to survive. Why tax the people that don't have money? Taxing millionares is a great way to get our government back on track because they don't always need the amount of money that they have. I don't know where this statement lyes, but TAX THE MILLIONARES! It's not that hard, they barely pay taxes and its hard enough paying taxes pretty much to them. Who gave them responsibility. If we collect the taxes from the billionares, that would probably be close to the U.S deficet. Why should we be aiding them, people are homeless because of them. Seriously! I support this view because we should be taxing the millionaires to pay for our debt and expenses. They have plenty of money that they really don't need, while some Americans are hungry and living in a box. Why don't the millonaires pay as much taxes as the middle class? The middle class are the people that actually work hard to support their families, but yet, they have to pay a lot of taxes. Meanwhile, the mega rich people have enough money where they don't have to do anything, so they should be the ones paying big taxes. Side: For Obama administration

Buy when they have so much money they can help our country get out off debt. We are not asking them to give us all of their money but they can help. I'm against Obama's policy because i think its stupid to tax the middle class, why are we constantly raising the tax anyways? If anyone it should be the upper class, who use the most money in what they do. They're the ones who have the small businesses and such things, which cost the most money to provide for and buy. Americans are already wasting our money on stupid random stuff that isn't necessary for living conditions. We should just leave the taxing alone and stop worrying about it so much. There are more important stuff like, people are dying from health care and not enough food and stuff, and we're too busy worrying about tax?! I am against Obama's plan for taxing millionaires. Why? Mainly because I don't think it will work. It is not a fair plan, to me. If you worked hard in order to make your fortune, does the government have any right to request a greater tax from you over anyone else? Why should an individual who gained his/her wealth legitimately, through hard work and determination, be forced to surrender a larger sum of money to the government? if you tax the rich, you end up destroying the capitalist system, and the middle class gets even less money. lets make this simpler. paul has an idea for a buisness, he acts on that idea and makes lots of money on the FREE market. in other words, a makret that is NOT completely controlled by the government. in order to make more money paul hires johnny, johnny works and earns money,but not quite as much as paul. johnny wants more money so he hires henry and samanthatha, who each earn part of johnnys money....and so on (ect) until it gets to you. if we get rid o all pauls money then he has to fire johnny and johnny has to fire henry and samantha... and so on (ect) until you get fired and your worse off than before Side: Against Obama's economic plan

I disagree with Obama's policy becasue i dont think that its right that when you lose your job that the government takes your house and your cars. I think that it isnt necessarily right for Obama to just tax the millionaires but if it just for a while to earn the money or the new ifistructures and roads and everything, then i guess i support it. All of us are worried about money and jobs while the millionares are just sitting there and are pretty much promised a job, so they should do something once in a while to help the people in a lower class than them. If his plans will make jobs than they should tax the millionares, then once more jobs are created then they can stop taxing the millionares. Side: For Obama administration
