The Child Labor laws made working condtions for children less harsh. They no longer could work in factories and work under harsh condtioins

Our country is always in war. most of the time we get involved in wars with other countires. We get involved with stuff that dont matter to the U.S. We will always be fighting in one way or another

I agree. The movie that we have been watching really shows that they took the war as a joke. They thought it was all fun and games and that no one was going to get hurt. Then they finally realized when there freinds were getting hurt/ dieing that it was no longer a joke

I agree with what has been said. When the U.S. Maine exploded the U.S. just pointed fingers at other countries instead of getting to the bottom of things. They started stuff with other countires and ecused them of damaging their stuff.

We still need the progressive era. The progressive era gives us jobs and allows people to get the items that are need to survive

As a child that works to help out there family with the bills and the food cost, yes i can see a 40 hour work week for children. its nice to be able to have a break between work, house hold chores and school

Immigrants have been stealing american jobs for years on ends. OPEN YOUR EYES. Look how hard it is to find a job now adays. Every were you loook you see a job that you could have been working at and it is taken away by an immigrant that gets paid less for there labor

I support what you say about Collective Bargining for wisconsin state employess. The government would just run us all over and do what ever they please with us. And we would have no say on what goes on around us.

With the way that our econmy is going i think that minimum wage is a good thing. The price of everything around us keeps on going up. So if we didnt have minimum wage our emploerrs would think that it's ok to pay us less for the jobs that we do.

If you teach kids how to do there jobs around machinery, you wouldnt see kids getting hurt. kids over the age 16 should be able to work almost anywere

Pinkertons are not a useless form of brutality they are mainly there to keep things from going to far. Workers do have the rights to express there thoughts and ideas but they can do that without protesting

I disagree with Obama's policy becasue i dont think that its right that when you lose your job that the government takes your house and your cars. I think that they should make some sort of plan to allow a certain amount of time for someone to get back on there feet and try again

I am for this law. Because employerrs think that they can make us kids work for next to nothing and be ok with it. When really we are not ok with it. Us kids have things to pay for too. If you wanna hang with your freinds or do something along them lines. Most likly its going to cost you money
