Collective bargaining is needed so that as workers, we get treated fairly and equally. We should be able to have a say in our pay and working conditions. It is not right if we don't.

No, the working conditions are not good and if we have to work under them we get a say in what they are. We should have a right to make the conditions better. I think it would be fair if we at least would get to negotiate them. We could come to a compromise. I think that collective bargaining should still be allowed.

Wisconsin State employees need collective bargaining. Without it, there is a chance that they might not get equal rights and that is not fair. Workers should be able compromise with their bosses about their jobs.

I disagree with your disagree. With a 40 hour work week, the business and the workers would also benefit. The workers would be less tired and would probably work better. They would still make money. The business would not have to pay as much. I think that they wold get as much stuff done too. The work would probably be more accurate too because they would have more energy to work.

I believe we still need unions. Without unions, business owners will have too power over the workers. They let workers have communication with the owners. Workers need to be able to have good working conditions and with unions, they can be able to have them.

It is terrible that you think that you can take advantage of kids. The factory is not an enviroment that children should be in. They can get hurt very easy. They should not be able to choose because at a young age they are going to do what everyone else is doing. Children should not be able to work in the factory.

They are so young that they might not understand how to run the machine they are working at . Then, they might make a mistake and then you would be mad. I'm a union worker and I am totally for this bill. I don't think that little children should be able to work under these conditions. The factories are for adults and not children. Adults know boundaries and know how to work the machines well. Children might not know how to and then they will end of do something wrong possibly causing injury. Working long hours in a hard time makes them really tired. It is not fair to make children work.

I think that immigrants should be able to join the workforce. When they come over to our country, they are part of this country. That makes them the right to have the same rights as us. They should have the rights to do jobs too.

I agree with that immigrants should be able to work here. I think that they will work hard or maybe harder than some people will. But I don't agree with them getting paid less. I think that when they come here they should get equal rights. They have a family that they have to support. Besides that, I think it is good that you are willing to have immigrant workers.

I agree with the minimum wage. Before. I was getting paid not very much, so now with the new wage, I can bring in more money. I think that the wage benifits both side. The new wage gives me more money to support the family. Also, the company will not go broke by paying us this. I think this is a very reasonable deal.

I agree with a 40 hour work week. I think that compared to a 60 hour work week, it is great. Under these new conditions, I have time to do other things then my work. Before, I barely had time to spend time with my family because I was so tired. I could barely do anything because of the long hours I had to work. Now, with less hours, I am less tired and can do things. The company also wound not loose anything. We would all still be working hard, we would just work 20 hours less. We would also be able to do a better job because we would not be so tired. I think it is a benefit to both sides.
