Most people, when put under prohibition, will become desperate for the drugs once they are deprived of it and then they will use these drugs illegally. This in turn will increase the crime rate. This didn't work in the 1920s and it isn't working very well today, but that doesnt mean that there are good things about prohibition either. Alcohol and marijuana lead to bad choices made by the user and eventually death. So if using alcohol and marijuana alot is more important than life, then go ahead and use them.

I don't understand why people think it is okay today? How can you justify killing someone because of the color of their skin.

The warfare was bad, yes but don't forget about the living conditions either. Trench foot and constant flooding of the trenches were awful

Most supplies would have to be found along the way through trading, hunting, etc. People would have to learn quick or die.

Trade is not the same as imperialism. Imperialism doesn't affect trade, it affects the governing power over a country. We trade with china but we aren't imperialistic toward china.

Yes to a degree. We should still be feared as allies with smaller countries. Us becoming a world power through imperialism makes our allies less likely to get in a war because the opposing country will think twice about fighting us, thus creating peace.

Right, if other countries wanted help, they would ask for it. I know I don't like it if someone tries to help me when I don't need it.

I agree, sure we won the war but it was unnescessary for it to happen. We can show the world what we are made of when we are attacked later.

I believe that the US staged the Spanish American war with the USS Maine to create conflict for them to become a world power. It was unneccesary for the war to begin and for us to flex our muscles but we can't change the past.

I agree. The environment is our source of survival and we cant just put it off thinking it isnt needed. We do need more jobs because unemployment is much higher than it should be.
