It’s a good idea, no doubt about that. But I don’t agree with it. If the government is monitoring what you watch, then that’s an invasion of privacy. Theyre being just like the hackers and creepers that already do that! The government can put up a security system, but no to the internet monitoring. Also, it a communistic idea. China already monitors their internet (you cant even Google carrot), and if the US starts doing that, well, it gives them a ton of power. They can access everything on the internet, THE INTERNET. Its HUGE! All that info in the palm of their hands, its to much. Plus, there is software you can buy to protect yourself from all the bad stuff. Id personally buy a $60 program then let the government see what i'm doing 24/7. As a last note, how much would this cost? Were already trillions over in debt, and if their going to buy cyber security… that’s gotta cost something. I think they should just set up security on important stuff, and not the whole thing, maybe like a high powered firewall, but no surveillance.
