Yes I think that the Government should regulate the internet to protect users. I believe this because when you are applying for something or shopping online, the Internet sites are not required to tell researchers and shoppers how their personal information will be used. Not just that but even though the website may say no one else but us will see this information, they could easily be lieing. Along with that, you could be telling your private information to an identify thief without even knowing it. That’s why it is important for the government to be watching what users are doing on the internet.
