In certain cases, prohibition does work. In the case of marijuana, prohibition works. No one really see the outlaw of marijuana as a prohibition. The reason alcohol prohibition, was fought against so much, was because alcohol has been around for thousands of years. The ancient Egyptians would feed there slaves beer to give them some sort of nutrition. Alcohol is not just a drink, its part of our culture.
